Before dyeing your hair, please see the tips, warnings, and directions.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND TIPS
- Due to the fact that the product can cause an allergic reaction, it’s crucial that an allergy test be conducted before each application. For this purpose, mix a small amount of the dye with an oxidant and put the mixture on your elbow using a cotton pad. Leave it exposed for 45 minutes, then wash off the mixture thoroughly with lukewarm water. Wait for 48 hours. If there are no skin changes, such as redness or a rash, you can proceed to hair coloring. No reaction to the allergy test does not guarantee that an allergic reaction will not appear as a result of the later color treatment. However, the test is an important precaution. In case of any reaction of the body during the test, remove the mixture immediately and do not use the product. If the symptoms, such as itchiness of the body or scalp skin, a rash, swollen eyes or face, appear during or immediately after the color treatment, SEEK MEDICAL HELP WITHOUT DELAY.
- In case of an unexpected reaction to the coloring mixture, such as a rash or burning sensation, wash off the product with lukewarm water. Contact a dermatologist before the next color treatment.
- The duration of the color treatment should be determined individually, depending on the shade, hair type, and its condition. Weak, thin, and delicate hair is more prone to coloring than healthy, thick, and strong hair. Therefore, while dyeing damaged or thin, fair, and delicate hair lightened after the permanent wave process, take extra care and reduce the duration of the treatment; the effect may be more intense. If your hair is thick, strong, gray, or particularly difficult to dye, you can extend the duration of the product; the effect may be less intense.
- If your hair has very damaged ends, do not apply the product immediately, do it 5 – 10 minutes before the color treatment is finished.
- If you are just after the permanent wave process, you should wait for at least 10 days and reduce the duration of the coloring mixture on your hair by 5 – 10 minutes. Otherwise, the hair color may be too intense or uneven. You should always dye your hair after, not before, the permanent wave process because the color may change.
- The color of the coloring mixture may change during the treatment and it doesn’t always live up to the expected hair color. You shouldn’t be concerned about that.
- If your hair is long and thick, you should use 2 packets of the product.
- We advise you to avoid contact of the product with clothes because the stains cannot be removed.
- Do not use the product if your hair was previously dyed with plant-based dyes (e.g. henna and basma) or metal salts.
- Do not use metal objects for the mixture preparation.
- Use up the prepared mixture immediately – it cannot be stored.
- Please follow the directions and the recommended duration of the color treatment.
- Please check if the shade number on the bend of the tube corresponds to the indication on the packet.
COLOR TREATMENT PREPARATIONS
Before you proceed to the color treatment, read all of this leaflet.
The packet contains:
1. a tube with a hair dye (40 g)
2. a bottle of an oxidant cream (60 g)
3. an information leaflet
4. protective gloves
Additionally, prepare:
a comb,
a towel,
a timer,
an oiling cream
In order to protect your clothes, cover your arms with the towel or a hairdresser cape. If you have some mousse, lotion, spray, or other hair-styling product left on your hair, comb it thoroughly. Then moisten your hair without washing it. Cover the skin beside your hair with a thin layer of the oiling cream.
COLORING MIXTURE PREPARATIONS
1. Put on your protective gloves before the color treatment.
2. Puncture the tube with hair dye with screw top and squeeze the entire contents into the bottle containing cream oxidizer.
3. Twist the tap carefully on and mix the dye thoroughly with the cream oxidant by going at it and shaking the bottle.
4. When the content of the bottle has homogenous texture, break off the applicator and immediately proceed with applying of the mixture onto your hair.
COLOR TREATMENT
Choose one of the two methods of applying the NATURIA organic color hair dye without ammonia or PPD which suits your needs.
A. COLORING THE WHOLE HAIR
Particularly recommended if:
- you’ve never dyed your hair
- you haven’t dyed your hair for at least 3 months
1. Apply the mixture to your moistened hairline with a brush.
2. Apply the mixture thoroughly from the hair roots to their ends while massaging.
3. Leave it for 20-40 minutes. If you want the effect to be delicate and less intense, comply with the shorter duration: 20 – 25 minutes. If you want the effect to be intense, the color treatment should take 30 – 40 minutes.
4. When the time is up, moisten your hair with water and massage until the foam appears. Then rinse thoroughly until the water is completely clean. Washing your hair immediately after the color treatment is not necessary.
B. COLORING THE ROOTS
Particularly recommended if:
- you dyed your hair about 4-5 weeks ago
- your hair roots differ from the rest of the hair
1. Apply 2/3 of the mixture to the moistened roots using a brush.
2. Leave it for 15 – 20 minutes in order for the color to be more delicate and less intense. If you want the color to be more intense or you wish to cover gray hair, extend the duration of the color treatment by 5 – 10 minutes.
3. Apply the remaining 1/3 of the mixture to the full hair length and leave it for 5 – 10 minutes.
4. When the time is up, moisten your hair with water and massage until the foam appears. Then rinse thoroughly until the water is completely clean. Washing your hair immediately after the color treatment is not necessary.
WARNINGS:
Attention: Hair dyes can cause a strong allergic reaction. Please read and follow the instructions. Use the product according to the directions. The product is not intended for people under the age of 16. Temporary black henna tattoos can increase the risk of allergy. Do not dye your hair if a) there is a rash on your face or the scalp is sensitive, irritated, and damaged, b) you’ve had a reaction to color treatment, c) you’ve had a reaction to a temporary black henna tattoo, d) your hair has been dyed with plant-based dyes (henna, basma). The hair dye contains thioglycolates, resorcinol (except the 320, 321, 333, 340 colors), and phenylenediamines (toluenodiamines) (except the 310, 313, 320 colors). Rinse your hair well after use. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product gets into your eyes, wash them with water immediately. Use the protective gloves. The oxidant cream contains hydrogen peroxide. Keep out of the reach of children. If you have to use contact lenses during the application and the product gets into your eyes, first remove the lenses and then wash your eyes with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not use the product to dye eyebrows, eyelashes, beard, moustache, or for any purposes other than hair coloring. Keep in a cool, dark, and dry place. Conduct an allergic test before each use. Please check if the shade number on the bend of the tube corresponds to the indication on the packet. Use the prepared mixture immediately, it cannot be stored. Mix the dye and the oxidant cream thoroughly in a 1:1.5 ratio.
