Including cold pressed raw vegetable oils in a diet is a great way to take care of healthy development of a child.  Our oil is a perfect blend of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.

Research shows, the growth of a child's brain ends at the age of 5-6 years, although some data indicates the importance of  the period from fertilization to 6-8 years of age [1]. Essential fatty acids (EFA) are essential building material for neurotransmitters. The human body is not able to synthesize EFAs on its own, therefore it is very important to provide them with food [2,3].

Rapeseed oil

Rapeseed oil contains, among others, alpha-lipoic acid (ALA). In children's diet, it is an important ingredient because of its metabolic activity and cognitive development of children. Moreover, ALA is first converted to eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and then to docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) plays an important role in the metabolism of the cell membrane of neurons and glial cells. It is especially needed for brain development. In addition, rapeseed oil is a good source of fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin E and K [4,5].

 Flaxseed oil

Flaxseed oil is an excellent source of unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, which the body cannot produce on its own - therefore, they should be supplied with food.

Flaxseed oil also contains tocopherols, i.e. components of vitamin E, with high antioxidant potential [6,7]. Linseed oil is especially recommended for children with ADHD. After 3 months of using 200 mg of flaxseed oil together with 25 mg of vitamin C twice a day, improvements in self-control, nervousness and approach to learning were reported [8].

 Evening primrose oil

Evening primrose oil contains a large amount of linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). The body is not able to synthesize GLA itself, so it is beneficial to supply it with food. Interestingly, scientific research has confirmed that the metabolism of linolenic acid is impaired in children with atopic dermatitis. That is why it is worth using evening primrose oil especially in children with atopic dermatitis.

Evening primrose oil also contains other fatty acids - oleic and palmitic and stearic. In addition, we can find in it phytosterols, a protein rich in sulfur amino acids and tryptophan, enzymes, vitamin E, zinc, selenium, magnesium and calcium [9].

Black cumin oil

Black cumin oil is rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs). You can also find vitamins (A, E, F, B1, B3, B6) and minerals: zinc, selenium, magnesium, calcium, iron, sodium and potassium. One of the most important ingredients is thymoquinone, which has anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effects against gram-positive bacteria and staphylococci and gram-negative bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, S. epidermidis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli
