The use of honey enriched with propolis
The most commonly used concentration of propolis in honey is 1%. This preparation is being prepared for use in the treatment of children who must not be given alcoholic solutions. In this form, propolis honey is used like regular honey, e.g. by spreading it on a slice of bread. Propolis has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties. Removes free radicals that contribute to the development of atherosclerosis. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is used in inflammation of the upper and lower respiratory tract.
Dosage:
Children and adolescents up to 14 years of age: 1 teaspoon twice a day.
Adults: 2 times a day, a tablespoon 30 minutes before eating.
Honey with propolis should be stored in a dry and dark room.
Before you start consuming honey with propolis, it is worth checking whether you are allergic to it. Just eat half a teaspoon of honey and observe your body's reaction.
